Thankful Thursday: NFM

I have one very obvious blessing in my life that I am thankful for, my job at National Filter Media (NFM). There are several reasons that I am so thankful to work for the company that I do.
1.     I enjoy working for a small company because of how much more employee oriented the company is. They are very flexible with your schedule and take each person unique situation into consideration.
2.    Because it is a small company, we don’t have to wait weeks for an answer to any question, we simply just walk to HR or the manager and poof the question is answered.
3.    I really like my co-workers; each and every one of them has good qualities and is easy to talk to. Don’t get me wrong, they totally can get on my nerves, but not very often.
4.    But, the blessing I have be witness to the most at NFM recently is that we genuinely care for each other.
This week one of my co-workers lost his father to cancer. Everyone here was really compassionate towards this person. His boss let him off for a week, most of the front office employees attend either the viewing or the funeral, and one of our salesmen cut his trip short to make it home to support this co worker(they are close friends).

How many people can say that they work with people who remember everyone’s birthday, acknowledge anniversaries, support each other in a time of loss, listen to someone just because they need to talk, and have fun on a regular basis? I am very lucky.
