Media Monday: Tucker & Dale Vs Evil

Last night the hubster and I watched a very odd movie. It was called:

It starts out like every other horror film with a group of college kids going camping in the woods. When they stop at the local gas station, there are creepy locals that warn them to “beee careful”. Then it shows Dale, a self conscious hillbilly, who digs one of the college girls. When he approaches her she gets scared and runs back to her friends.

Next Tucker & Dale are at their “vacation home” a dilapidated mountain cabin when they are attacked by the group of preppy college kids.

Both sides believe that the other is evil and trying to kill them. After a series of accidents most of the college kids are dead and Tucker & Dale are sufficiently freaked.
I’m not going to go into more detail so I don’t give away the surprise ending, but this movie is unexpectedly delightful and funny, and I think it is worth a watch.
