Ack! My eyes.

A couple weeks ago I was minding my own business, answering phones at work. I adjusted my glasses,cause they were slipping down my nose, and BAM! the frame broke. It was beyond repair (I know because I got the superglue out and worked for a half hour blind to no avail). I had to tape the frame back together and rush home for my contacts. I wear gas permeable (hard contacts) and they are super uncomfortable. I also hadn't worn them since the wedding. I have been wearing them daily ever since my glasses broke, my poor eyes are so itchy.
On Tuesday I had an appointment with Dr. Pace, who is amazing. Since I have not been wearing my contacts for a year, my astigmatism has actually gotten better. I was amazed because I didn't know that your eye could change that much in a year. I have a cute cute pair of new glasses on order and am counting down the days until they come in.
I came to a realization while wearing my contacts. I do see better in them, but until I can find more comfortable lenses I want to stick to glasses. Also I think I look so much better in glasses. I have the tiniest eyes and because I have a huge prescription, glasses magnify them. Ha Ha I don't look as pale either.
